A very interesting look at improving the improved as we spent time in the recently reconfigured “Lensing cell”.
We were very impressed with the pride the Lensing cell team demonstrated. It was clear to us they worked hard and together to make the improvements. One key was the improvements reduced the need for cell operators by three people and those people were needed and placed in other departments. Improvement did not mean layoff, a key philosophy of continuous improvement.
Great job by Dave Lauder and everyone in the Lensing cell team!
